Let us begin with the full fasting as shared in the Bible
Full fasting can be found in the Book of Esther that is found in the old Testament, when you read in Esther 4:15-16, here we see Esther requesting fellow Jews to gather and fast for her for three days and nights as she goes to see the king. she told them not to eat any food nor drink anything.
When they did that the outcome was awesome, as Christians we can also mirror the same as what Esther and her people did so that they got the results that they needed.
Another type of fasting we are going to look at below here is the partial fasting.
Let us now look at the types of prayer in the scripture.
And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven(James 5:15)
Is a type of prayer where you keep on asking to God,an example from the bible is found in the text we have given below here.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God(Philippians 4:6)
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people(1 Timothy 2:1)
This is where you intercede for others
As we delve into understanding the types of fasting we have, I hope the Lord will speak and you will listen so that you can begin the fasting activity in your life.
